The Biden administration and Biden-affiliated political action committees have been spending millions of dollars for access to prominent TikTok influencers.
In exchange, these influencers create content on TikTok with a pro-Biden message, based on suggested talking points from the White House.
So where is that money going?
Are these videos blessed by the Biden Administration considered paid content?
And if so, how could that be? TikTok does not allow political ads on its platform.
These are a few of the immediate questions I had when I watched this video by Alex AKA Loloverruled.

Why should you care?
1. It furthers Trump's mission to weaken the free press and their ability to report our elected officials.
I am just as fed up with the New York Times, the Washington Post, CNN, in other major news outlets who have been complicit in the wholesale destruction ofthe working class.
but a free Press is one of our last defenses against fascism and if we lose it, we are in big trouble
Biden circumventing the free press sense mix signals to the American public that suggest a free price is not needed in a democracy
This is the same exact message by Trump

2. It hurts our ability to make informed decisions on who to vote for in local elections.
there is already a mass disconnect between who progressives want to see in a local positions and who the DNC wants to see in local positions.
Unfairly influencing local elections with paid influencers will elect the type of Democrats that have put us in this position
3. Biden's influencer strategy, mimics co-optation, and thus creates a divide between liberals and leftist.
This in a cooperation, strategy the person in charge power hand pics a select group of people and give them privileged access gifts, preferential treatment, status, and heightened visibility
This then creates mistrust distrust among the populous. People will start accusing others of selling them out. Factions form arguments persist. This is not a bug. It is a feature.
The Biden's ministrations strategy to handpick influencers and give them unprecedented access has caused greater division among the left, and that is by design
What's worse is we blame each other for that division .
If you are a liberal of the opinion that Biden is the only answer and we should be voting for him. Then you should be against this influencer strategy because it's further isolating leftists.

The money is funnelled through talent agencies and then goes dark. No one really knows where it goes next.
Who do these payments end up with?
The story isn't that pearlmania is a fed. For the record, I don't believe he is.
The story is that there's a system that exists that allows elected officials and campaign PACs to court the opinions of people who are attention rich and cash poor.
And these powerful political entities use the idea of talent agencies to obfuscate the flow of millions of dollars into the so-called creator economy.
They do this in order to hide from the public who is getting rich and who is working for free fish and access to over-designed sitting rooms.
The Biden administration anoints TikTok content creators the new media.
But let's call it what it really is, an Mass Influence Cartel. It's a system where political super PACs budget millions for content creation, but no one is getting paid for their work.
After the Trend Up event in DC, a lot of content creators shared their experiences at the event and preached the importance of transparency.
People are blinded by ceremony. You rent out of space at a swanky hotel, provide an open bar, have a few guest speakers, and all of a sudden a bribe looks like a partnership.
You can't have it both ways. We can't be both authentic and opaque when it comes to the origins of the words coming out our mouth.
If Biden's chief of staff met you at a dank dive bar and slid some money in a paper bag and asked you to do the same exact thing for them, would you have done it?
