Plausible deniability. You see, most liberals actually have a pretty good stomach for human suffering and injustice. So long as they never have to see how that sausage was made, or hear the butcher's opinions on it, liberals will vote for you. But the second you walk up to that podium and start talking crazy, and say things to strip away plausible deniability, liberals will go on the offensive. Look at the immigration issue. Both Biden and Trump have basically the exact same inhumane policies. Both have made asylum seeking more difficult for people coming from countries that our our country fucked up. The difference is that when Trump steps up to the podium he embarrasses liberals. Trump has zero fizz when it comes to racism. Biden on the other hand, does his dirt, washes his hands, then hits that podium with his aviators on and eye fucks the county. Biden gives liberals that plausible deniability needed to continue living that American dream. And that's why the vote blue no matter who slogan is so funny because it's literally telling you to walk up to the booth with your hands over your eyes and vote.
